1. Introduction

• Welcome to the Doctor 24By7 Doctor App. This platform is designed specifically for licensed medical professionals to manage patient interactions, appointments, and medical consultations digitally. By using this application, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Eligibility and Login

• Note: The Doctor App is only accessible to doctors who are already enrolled in the Doctor 24By7 EMR Platform. Public registration is not available.
• To access and use the Doctor App, you must be a qualified and licensed healthcare professional legally permitted to provide medical consultation services in your region. You will be required to provide contact information, and other required details. To log in and access the app, you must enter your registered mobile number to receive an OTP and proceed with the login.

3. Services and Functionalities

The Doctor 24By7 Doctor App offers the following features:

• Appointment Booking Management: Schedule, or cancel patient appointments.
• E-Prescription Generation: Generate and share digital prescriptions with patients.
• Video Consultation: Conduct live video consultations with patients securely.
• Patient Communication: Chat securely with your patients for follow-up or clarifications.
• Holiday Scheduling: Mark unavailability to avoid patient bookings during your non-working days.
• Doctor Invoicing and Revenue Management: Track revenue generated through consultations and other services.

4. Data Privacy and Patient Confidentiality

• As a healthcare provider, you are legally and ethically obligated to protect patient data. The app provides secure means to store and transmit data, but ultimate responsibility for compliance with data protection laws lies with you. Misuse or unauthorized sharing of patient data may lead to legal action and termination of your account. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

5. Revenue and Payment Settlements

• Doctors will receive consultation fees based on completed appointments. Payment cycles, processing fees, and payout timelines will be governed by the agreement between the doctor and Doctor 24By7. The platform holds no responsibility for patient payment failures or chargebacks.

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

• In case if cancellation has been done from doctor before the commencement of the Schedule/meeting: Full refund will be provided including convenience and transaction charges to the patient.
• In case if cancellation has been done from patient before the commencement of the Schedule/meeting: Full refund will be provided excluding convenience and transaction charges.
• If the consultation does not happen from the doctor’s side, due to any special circumstances like technical issues or for any reason, an option to request refund will be available to the patient for a period of 3 working days, but the issuance of full or part refund will be on the sole discretion of Doctor 24By7.
• Note: Patients can reschedule their appointments at their convenience based on the availability of the doctors.

7. Convenience and Transaction Charges

• Patients will hold the responsibility of paying the Convenience and Transaction charges.
• Doctor 24By7 holds all the rights to change the amount of convenience or transaction charges irrespective of time.

8. Doctor Obligations and Conduct

As a registered user of the Doctor App, you agree to:

• Provide accurate medical advice in line with local laws.
• Maintain an active and valid medical license.
• Avoid any abusive or unprofessional communication with patients.
• Promptly respond to patient communications and scheduled appointments.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Doctor 24By7 acts solely as a technology platform to facilitate doctor-patient interactions. The platform does not engage in medical decision-making or patient diagnosis. Doctor 24By7 will not be held liable for patient outcomes, medical negligence, or legal disputes arising from doctor conduct.

10. Suspension or Termination

• Doctor 24By7 reserves the right to suspend or terminate any doctor account that violates these terms, engages in illegal activity, or jeopardizes patient safety.
